Man alive! I wish I'd seen this before I ordered a new one from eBay seller 5150motorsport yesterday. It's a genuine Porsche part, but it set me back $204. Yours would've been a lot cheaper, even with shipping. In any case, the original had been through the mill, with pieces missing.

BTW, Mike of 5150motorsport is a good guy and quite knowledgeable.about Porsches. He was a big help when I decided the 986's front end looked bare without a license plate, and so I ordered a bracket and spacers from him. (And instead of a 15-minute job putting it on, it turned out to be an ungodly thrash due to the wrong mounting screws supplied with the kit, Porsche's fault, not Mike's. The right screws did the trick.)
