As long as you have your bad 3.2L engine to pull a few parts from it shouldn't be a problem.
  • Engine wire harness on the tiptronic has the harness for the transmission integrated with the engine harness.
  • The tubing for the brake booster vacuum line connects differently.
  • The Tiptronic has a heavier starter and alternator, but either will function.
  • Vacuum hoses on the Tiptronic include a connection for Transmission cooling valve.
Keep your current ECU (DME). Where there's a difference, just use the parts from your original engine for a clean swap.
