Here's a 550 replica build that I followed. Not quite the same as a 356 kit, but not really that different at the nut, bolt, and wire level.

A very cool car and project. Not something that I'd choose to daily vs a 986 for comfort and ease of getting through traffic, but a blast to drive for weekend fun.
