Amazing! BrantyB, after all the internet sleuthing I did, I don't think I would have ever found this myself. Sure looks like the real thing -- I went ahead & ordered the VDO harness. Thanks.

Deserion, thanks for the leads on removal tools. I've been getting by with my mini-screwdrivers so far, but the radio harness doesn't have enough room next to the pins, so it's about time I invest in the right tool. I might start with a couple from Napa as you mentioned, and then grab the Rennsteig you posted if needed. Have you used any of these on the radio harness? That one looks a bit different, in that plastic catches hold the pins in, rather than metal tabs on the pins themselves.
