I been looking at the 987 and the newer Boxsters, I certainly think there is a retro, classic look to the 986. I don't think it was ever meant to masculine like a corvette but rather a simple sports car with subtle curves. When you compare to the new boxster, it is just looks more like a Porsche in my opinion. I like the new ones, I just don't think they will age as kindly.
