The Ultima's are the same way: LS1/LT1 engines and G50's. I know the english fellow in Morgan Hill CA (south of San Jose) who builds the cars here in the states for Ultima USA customers. The LS1 works much better against the G50 than the older LT1's. The LS1's rpm a little easier making the ratios of the G50 a little more livable on the street.

All the cars running the G50 have to run a pretty tall tire on a 17/18/or 19 inch rim to make the car livable on the freeway. Zero to sixty is PIN YOUR EARS back fast..LOL, but tach'ing 4k RPM at 70MPH is not cool nowadays.

The Factory Five Cobra race series in NASA pro racing is BIG here on the West Coast.
