OF COURSE! I would consider that! As a PORSCHE nut, there ain't no stopping me, once I got an idea stuck in my head. Will at least get that trim to be prepared, when a replacement is needed.
But no DIY, of course! I had some windshield replacements on other cars...those car glass service professionals are good, fast as lightning and inexpensive.
