LOL. I started my search on Craigslist when I was still in Canada, and test drove a couple from there, in the Sarasota-Venice-Fort Myers areas. One I test drove was a Tip, which cemented in my mind that I wanted an M/T. Looked at a dark blue one with tan interior at a used car lot, just 49,000 miles, but no owner or service history at all. I even had arranged for a PPI at a local specialist shop, but then I saw this one pop up on Auto Trader. I had saved a search on both Cars.com and on AutoTrader.com. This car was owned by two prior owners. The first owner was 91 years old when he bought it, and he died a year later. Then the second owner bought it from the estate, until now. He was/is a Univ. professor at 3 different universities and babied it service-wise, oil changes every 6K, etc etc etc. He had every service file ever, the window sticker from when it was new on the lot, the sales brochures, colour charts, all of it. A test drive cemented it for me.

Like most of us in Canada, it's a long hibernation season to put up with, but spring is soon upon us!
Thanks Steve, it was interesting watching it follow me home on the trailer.

Yeah, thanks Brad, I'll have to watch myself. Small towns mean everyone knows you, especially the constabulary, when you have a car that looks like this one.

Yup, thanks. Got the CTEK battery tender connected today. I ordered it off Amazon so it would be here when I got home from Florida.

Thanks much! And it's in awesome shape for a 15 year old car, the Florida climate and roads are so much kinder to cars than ours.

Thanks. Waiting...waiting...waiting. I already have trips planned around the Cabot Trail and over to PEI.
