As mentioned, re-flashes work best on cars that have been substantially modified (intake, exhaust, cat by pass, etc.). While Softronic has traditionally been more conservative in their gain estimates, but their literature also does not say if the test car was otherwise modified prior to the re-flash.
What you have to think about is the economics of doing this. On an "S" model, they advertise a 15HP increase, which is about 6% over stock, and at a cost of about $60/HP if the 15HP can be verified on a dyno.
