We had multiple failures of the pump back in the GrandAm Boxster 986 days. They would lose a channel. 996's did it too, but running 2:45 races with two pro drivers tends to stress things differently than amateurs (like us)

The key is: don't turn the power off in the car when you come back to the pits.. it clears the codes
