Before you do anything, take some time and research the K&N filter issue because you're going to get a wide range of opinion on this subject: Some say that the K&N filter causes the MAF to fail. Some say only over-oiling the filter will damage the mass airflow sensor (MAF). Some say then don't over oil it. Some say that the K&N has nothing to do with MAF failures. Etc, etc.

If you do decide to re-snork and go back to the OEM filter, the next step is to make sure that you have ALL of the parts. You wouldn't be the first used car buyer who was told by the seller that he was given all of the parts only to find that _________ (fill in blank) was missing.

You should be able to find DIY's to help get this done. If not, post back and someone will help.
