When I checked it out I see that the latch for the top has popped out of the slot it goes into while closed. Its out about 1/4 inch max. When I try and pull the latch handle it wont budge. Try putting the top all the way down & then all the way back up being carefull to center the latch & don't release the top switch until the light goes off & then manualy latch the locking lever.
