My car has only the stock exhaust manifold with attached primary cat with O2 sensors fore and aft. Consequently there are no CEL issues and it passes NYState emissions. I have the secondary cat deletes and now this muffler. If you only put on the muffler you may have a bit less sound than I do which may be more to your liking. Hope this helps.
