Hello,
Well I finaly pulled the trigger and picked up my first Porsche
A 2000 Boxster S. Black on black with the 6-spd. I still need to figure out what options she has other than the litronic (sP) headlights.
For years all I've owned and worked on are various Japanese sportscars.
Now I wanted something different, something ultra-cool.
So I spent the last 4-6 months doing research and waiting for the perfect deal. Snow is just srounf the ocnrener here in Colorado and this dealership wanted to get rid of this convertible asap. Which was fine by me.
I don't have the words yet to decribe the way she drives/feels to me other than I am extremly happy and am starting to understand the statement "Porsche Engineering". I will elaborate more over the months as we become more aquianted ....hmmmmm
One cool thing that happened today was I drove up to the pump for the first time since buying her to fill up and pulled up next to a nice Carrera. The owner said "Good Morning, brother" and introduced himself. We chatted for a while, high fived and off he went.
***CEL*** light came on during my drive home
as I over-filled my gas tank....opppsss. My Check Engine light should go off in a couple days as my gas level is reduced or the gas evaporates from the charcoal-canister.....right?
