Not showing as logged in
Hi,
I'm having a quite strange problem. When I log on here, it doesn't show on the startpage. When I browse to another page, for example General Discussions, it works as it should.
I've only encountered this problem on the start page, so perhaps it has something to do with how the login module is configured there.

Same here on both my PC with Chrome and on my IPad, so looks like its a forum issue....quite annoying.

I looked a little into this after i had the problem. It seems to be a cookie/cache problem that the page doesn't actually get you the proper information to begin with, but it still knows you are logged in so as soon as you click anything else the proper information is loaded into your browser and you are logged in.

Seems to be a bug in Chrome - this doesn't happen in any other browser, and there have been no code changes to the forums recently. We did upgrade to new servers, but I don't think that should affect this?

Sorry, but no, happens on my IPad running safari. Shows not loged in when I arrive at the site, but if I click on a link, it suddenly shows I am logged in.

Okay, thanks for the feedback. I have fixed this issue. Depending upon your browser and how it caches pages, this may take a day or two to show up, unless you delete your cached pages for 986forum.com
THANKS!
