The temperature could have allot to do with it. I did mine inside at 75 degrees. The last stage of the painting with the Rust-Oleum Crystal Clear should make it really POP! and VERY glossy! If you use several thin coats, it will look much better. But, If you apply it to heavy, it WILL look dull at first, but after a few hours will show the silver color though and should not stay dull and cloudy.
