Finally got a good picture of the ghost graphics. So hard to capture the graphics on a camera.

You can see how shiny the paint is coming out by the mirror finish on the hood. Can you see the Ghost Stripe? It's kinda hard with my reflection.
The re-assembly should begin this week!

That ghost striping is beautiful...

drbodzin, what an awesome project!! my 986 is a 99 and really rundown! color needs touch up, leather seats look bad (as in cracked and really BAAAAD), front spoiler has been parked several times to close to curbs ... and engine is 164,000 miles ... how many miles does your car have on it? I am wondering whether this makes any sense for me ..?

Hi Roster,
My car only had 98,000 miles when I started this project last year. Sitting at about 102,000 now. Since I started, I've dumped close to $30k into the project. Me, I would start with a lower mileage car for this big of a project. Then again, who am I to say. Do what makes you happy

I'm curious as to which subwoofer you used on the project. Very nice work that was done.
Nevermind, saw that it was the InPhase sub. Thanks

Still waiting on my seats to get finished. Hopefully this week!
Here are a few shots before I reinstalled all the interior.
Here is how she is looking now.
I mentioned in my last post that I dyed the carpet. I think I found a new favorite product. The carpet dye from www.LeatherMagic.com is AMAZING. And they have Porsche Colors. http://leathermagic.com/Pages/porschecolrchart.htm
My carpets literally look new again!
Here is the rear carpet with half dyed back to Savanna Beige (the darker half). See how faded it was. Its so easy to use too. Just spray it on the carpet (after you clean the carpet and its dry). Then use a bristle brush to brush it in. Once it dries, I used a wire brush to brush the carpet fibers. It is AWESOME!

WOW! This is awesome...I am really interested in upgrading my interior (it's the same color)

I kept hitting my front bumper when parking, if you look closely you can see a backup camera mounted on the front for parking, I just used a regular Porsche switch in the panel to turn it on and off, it's been a lifesaver.

Which switch do you use to turn your camera on and off? Do you have the part number and wiring diagram? I've been thinking of doing something similar.
