Just bought 2002 Boxster

I bought a 2002 Boxster to replace my 99 that I sold last year.I can not believe how low the price of Boxsters have become. I got this one for $9,000.00 from a privet seller it has 68K miles on it and has had the 60K mile service done + new cluck, flywheel,RMS,CV shafts, tie rods,Idle Control Vale, four wheel alignment and new tires.

The car looks great the only thing it needs is a new rear window that I can have done for $350.00 I can't believe that you can get behind the wheel of a Porsche for $9,000.00.

Yes, The Lotus is my dedicated track car, and the Boxster will be my DD but not until this spring. I plan on doing a lot of work on the Box over this winter. This is not me first Porsche or my first Boxster. I had a 99 but sold it last year around this time.

I did not think I was going to buy another Boxster again until I came across this one and I had to jump on it. I am looking forward to working on it this winter and driving it this spring. I did miss driving a Boxster and was looking to buy a 911 test drove a 1987 W/97K miles on it the price was dirt cheep, Seller as asking $10,500 the car looked great BLK on BLK but man did it drive like crap.....I know there are a lot of 911 lovers out there but the Boxster will flout circles around a 911 if Porsche ever put the same size and Hp motors in the Boxster I think 911 sales would plummet.

Wow, thats a fantastic deal. I recently got my 2000 2.7, 115k mi. for $7500 and I thought I stole the car. Definitely a buyers market out there. Theres a guy on the forum asking $18k for a base 99! Good luck to him.

Oow oow youre just the guy im looking for!!! A track man that has driven a 2.5 and a 2.7!!!

Is there a big difference? Going from 201 hp to 217 hp doesn't seem like to much but it has to be feelable!! Let me know? Plus, i love the look of that black!! To bad its a tiptronic

The biggest difference is the 2.7 has more low end torque off the line and hits 4000rpm allot quicker, I have not tracked the 2.7 yet so I do not know what it is like out on the track but the motor feels smoother and quicker then my 99 W/ the 2.5.

And my both my 99 and now my 2002 Boxsters are manuals, not autos.

I got this one for $9,000.00

I recently got my 2000 2.7, 115k mi. for $7500

It frightens me to see how boxster prices have fallen . I have more than that invested in my exhaust system .

Ouch!!! As an original owner of my 02 with 75k miles, but ~40 track days, gotta feel a little of the hurt. Good thing I drove it for what it was made for.
