Randall - that car is a BEAUT! And the 18" Carrera's are probably my favorite rims for the Boxster.

That is just plain gorgeous. If it were not for the engine and RMS issues, I would be hunting for a $8G boxster right now and going down this road.

You really ought to write a book about yourself and that car. You prolly have the outline for a few chapters in your postings already.

Then weave in your family and life's work kinda like Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance.

Thanks, Mike. I am a published author and I've given serious consideration to writing a book about how to buy and maintain a Boxster.

However, I am in the midst of writing a lengthy book right now, and I have outlined another one after this so it will be next year before I can give it any attention.

Of course, all royalties would be earmarked for a total restoration of this car ... 3.X Raby motor, new interior, new front and rear bumper covers, new side skirts, and a paint job so nice that you'd swear it was bathed in liquid glass
