Cool, all I would need is the bracket and the heat shield. I'll make a new faceplate with the vinyl I've got left over from my current one.

That's a pretty neat idea to put the kit together for Boxster owners. The AVIC is a pretty straight-forward install and looks great in 986s. I hope your brother does well in his venture.

Happy Easter to you too.

Really looking forward to your PDF files. Thank you for working on them and sharing with 986 owners. Also looking forward to this kit that may be for sale.

Thanks

Chills,

Here are images of the kit (2-Din housing & brackets, Porsche 986 wire harnesses, antenna adapter, radio removal keys, screws, wire nuts, custom support bracket, heat shield, fascia or faceplate). It will definitely be nice for those that haven't done the install yet to use a kit with photo directions. My brother has his hands in a lot of projects to keep him busy, but he was happy to help me with out with this project.

The photo instructions is almost completed, just trying to put as much pertinent info on there as possible. I will post it tomorrow if I can, depends on how late I work tonight.

The kit will be on Ebay today but no later than tomorrow is what I was told. My brother is low on the quantity of the faceplates & custom support brackets but has some on order again. He wasn't really anticipating selling more than 100 of these.

Very cool kit, Tri.

So how much for just the bracket and the heat shield? And I must say the faceplate is pretty sweet. How much for that as well?

Has your brother sold 100 of these already?? That's awesome.
