Same Jaz Hero rims that other members have posted, but I've yet to see it in black, so here's mine. Just put her on about 2 weeks ago with 275 in the rear, but the tires was stretched so I think I could have seriously gone to 295. Thats huge on the lil ol Boxster.

18's vs 19's

My 986 on 18" turbo twists---8.5 upfront 10" in back on Michelin pilots

now on upgraded, 19" carrera's- 8" w/ 57mm offset up front and 9.5"w/ 46mm offset in back, Would have preferred that extra half inch but got a deal on these

Thanks I was between the Carrera S Wheel but at $565 delivered from Wheels & Caps the Cayman the price diffence was enough to put a big dent in the cost of litronics.

Does anyone have pictures of 18" 5 spoke Carrera lights on a 987? I love those wheel on the 986, and thought they might be a good substitute for the 19" 5 spokes on the newer cars.
Thanks,
Steve

I must admit this style of design in wheels have always intrigued me and If I ever opt for a new set it will be along these lines. Are these by chance RPK's? Beautiful nonetheless!

I looked through the thread and was surprised to see nobody with these wheels - they came on my '03 (as an option), and I just picked up a second identical set from a member here for $500 - including two like-new BFG G-Force Sport rear tires.

The BFG's will be my street tires (I just got new fronts mounted this AM), and once I wear out my Yoko's, I'll pick up some better track tires. Life's good!

This pic is of one of the new set of wheels with a new BFG.

^That's a hell of a lot of lead on the wheel!

Yes, I think I got their entire collection of tape weights. I've got a hundred-mile drive to do tonight, so I may be returning for another balance if things don't feel right.

The wheel is in good shape and looks true - I wonder if BFG just made a sh** tire.
