Lock the car...

....When you lock the 986 it goes into “Deep Sleep” after 72 hours. This will significantly lower the battery draw.

You can test this yourself.

Lock your Boxster, then leave her for a week....

I found one...

I was able to convince him to sell me the key ring.

I paid a STUPID amount...

Used cars

The point about buying a used Boxster which already had the LN plug installed and the new owner not knowing about it is a very valid argument for “RTFM” not applying for the OP.

It’s a great...

LN magnetic torque....

....is less than the OEM plug because the magnetic part inside the outer plug body can “spin” inside the plug body if you over torque it as I explained above.

The Magnet is not aluminum. The Plug...

Peace....

....My point was only that LN lists a torque spec in their instructions.

The torque spec is there for a reason. The reason being that if you OVER torque their magnetic drain plug, the magnetic...

Zero leaks.

I have a $400 Snap-on torque wrench and use it. Every time.

I use a new crush washer. ...

Stick with OEM....

.....any motor mount that is a higher durometer than stock triggers the engine knock sensor and you will lose horsepower.

It is.....

......the valve under the battery.

I put a new one in and that is what fixed my “can’t fill the tank”...

That part is #21 I believe.
