I agree sounds like the crank sensor, as stated, they do fail and usually play up when hot on most cars. Not sure about a porsche but why should they be any different lol

i was under the car whilst it was half way up a wall and half way up a scaffold board . Safe but it was difficult to see...

Do it quick too, i pushed mine to bend it slightly to stop the rattle and it worked. One side anyway. The next day it wasnt there, it had fallen off somewhere lol. Like most cars the shields are held...
