my 2000 S had the same problem until it no longer...

my 2000 S had the same problem until it no longer worked at all. Both fobs with new batteries did not fix the problem which places the problem with electronics inside the car. $140 for diagnosis...

I used a large flathead screwdriver wrapped in a t-shirt. Pull the trim back and use a flaslight to see where it is attached, then pry at that spot. I was able to re-use all the plastic molly type...

Unfortunately, no. Due to the fact it never worked well for me (sometimes it took multiple attempts a foot away from the car for it to work) I'm thinking something may have slowly been going out.

Thanks. Seems odd to me that both the remotes no longer work. Makes me think the problem is with the keyless electronics inside the vehicle.
