The fuel sticker on my wifes 'S' says 96 RON.
I run it on 98 mainly because of the high summer temperatures that can stay in the 35C - 38C...

I could have a squirt through the hills (80km) and make a real mess.

What oil are you currently using?
Have you always used this oil?
Could it be oil foaming at high RPM that is causing an oil pumping problem?
