My top had been acting erratic ever since i had my windshield replaced a month ago. Finally, the top got stuck half way open. I searched the forum and found this thread.

might just be brake dust... take the garden hose rinse the brakes/ wheels... my brakes squeal sometimes... rinsing them stops it every time.

Look in the phonebook for an independent Porsche/ european car shop to save money. It will be 1/2 the cost!!!

If a Boxster or Cayman had the same engine as a 911 would it beat it??? I wonder if Porsche purposely de-tunes the Cayman so it does not outperform their flagship model.

Trunk button failure

My trunk button was not working. I opened up the remote, and found that the switch fell off the circuit board.... I soldered it back on and it works perfect.... :cheers: Easy!!!!

Thank you all for the tips. After searching the archives, I am going to buy the Rite Fit A251 at Pep Boys. It seems other forum members have had good luck with that oil filter wrench.
