Quiet Aux port???

I've noticed that my volume goes quite a ways higher when listening to a CD or radio than when I'm using my AUX port... I plug in my wife's Note9 and it seems better... but not as loud as the other inputs.

Any ideas? Is it really just the phone?

I have the aux port setup in the center console that does NOT have the USB... How do I go about getting the USB setup that goes in either the console or the glove compartment?

Thanks in advance

If you have a CDR22, I normally have the AUX volume around 10-12, and up to 20-22 with the top down. However, the AUX is normally close in volume of the radio and CD. It is probably the output volume of your device, does it change when you try a different device.

It's the CDR30 and it does get slightly better with a different phone but it's still significantly quieter than the other inputs.
