After several PCA DE events this summer, and watching them in action, I'm getting more and more interested in a Cayman S or R. I don't get to Planet-9 much, so I'd love to see an active Caymen group here.

I'd like to understand the specifics of the newer generation cars since I live in 986/996 Land.

Great! Then I will post up some pics and see of we can get some Cayman guys with good questions (I'm a race guy) not a "what kind of wax do you use guy" LOL

FYI: We will have the largest BoxsterSpec field ever assembled, at Hallet in Oct. You should come out and say *hello*

Brad - Spec Boxster racing is my goal. I've chatted offline w/ Tom about several different topics related to driver training and spec car build. You'll be hearing from me as I get deeper into the process to procure a car (either buy or build).

My first DE was at Hallett and I'll be there later this fall for some other driving events.

As for the Oct race - you'll see me against the fence on the back straight the entire weekend and you'll probably have to chase me out of your pit area for looking over your shoulder too much.

We'll talk,

Rick

Bring it!

I sat on the original rules committee with POC (the race group that created the class) I was the only technical person at the meetings in the Summer of 2005 when we laid the ground work for the class. 99% of the parts/part number in the rules where put there by me. Nobody else (blame me) lol
