They can be had on eBay for around $400-700 a set because they only fit on one application,the 02'+ 996. I assume they were so much because he bought them from a dealership new.

Show me that auction because I will buy those for backup. I saw a pair of halogens in a similar style for about $1k. Maybe that's what you saw. I was charged $1445 each, and that's an excellent price in all my research. Dealers want to charge $1900 each. Suncoast was impressive at $1600 a pop.

I came across that one in my research... Gemballa NA is optimistic to think they can get almost $500 for that (used) thing when it's missing the sprayer head (not a simple fix... it's hydraulic!). It's been listed for a while, and I presume it will continue to be with a starting bid at 470.
