I dont know how I found this old thread, but I got a chuckle out of it when I read it. I can now add GT3 seats to the weight-reduction program for an additional weight savings of about 40 lbs, over stock seats, no wonder the car feels like it is floating sometimes......

To further resurrect this from the dead, which of the Braille batteries are you guys using? I'm looking in their "no-weight" series, at the B2317/ 17R. I know that with the Optima, I needed a 34R to get the terminals on the right side, so I assume the 17R would be correct here? It looks like the 11.5 and 15 pound batteries only come one way.

I got a little under three years of life on my first Braille battery, it was a 15lb model. The folks at Braille say their batteries are not fond of cold weather and it would last longer if on a maintainer over the winter. The 15 lb unit worked fine, but when I replaced it I went with their 21 lb battery because I have a couple of good sized, outboard amps in my audio system.
