The next sunny day with temps in the 60's or higher park the car outside . Put the top down and park the car so the sun is hitting the dash . You want the sun to be lined up to hit the gauge faces .

After a few hours fire up the car . If the LCD " spot " hasn't disappeared then you are past the point of it self healing . Replacement of the screen is the next option or just live with it .
