Thank you for your reply it is truly informative and helpful. Could you elaborate on the scam regarding asking for help? It could be useful when someone asks me for it.

I have the bearing but I don't know which is the correct snap ring used in the IMS for the double row bearings. I already have a single row alternative but my car is model year 2000 so it can be any of the two. I would like to have all the parts ready before opening it up.

Thank you once again for your time and input. I hope all the members are at least this helpful and welcoming to newcomers.
