I have the bearing but I don't know which is the correct snap ring used in the IMS for the double row bearings. I already have a single row alternative but my car is model year 2000 so it can be any of the two. I would like to have all the parts ready before opening it up.

The factory dual row bearings did not have a snap ring to retain them, they had a sacrificial wire imbedded into the side of the outer race that retained them in the shaft. Qualtiy replacement bearings like the LN used a Spiralock to retain the retrofit bearing rather than a snap ring:
