Again, Deep sump

I have the MantisSport 2 litre deep sump and never had any problems. I run the oil level around mid-range on the gauge to avoid smoke bombs with the assurance that there’s still lots of oil down below!

Being Canadian and very close to Msntis I have run the Mantis 1.5 for years and never had a flickering oil pressure light on street biased tires at Mosport and Shanonville.

Way back it seemed to be the only design with a windage tray trapping the sump volume so I went with it rather than risking the engine. Never saw the point of the x51 when oil could escape upward irrespective of the baffles being steel or otherwise
