IPD Plenum for 3.4

Dudes!

I stumbled on a great deal on the IPD Plenum for the Cayman 3.4. Itīs complete with the 74mm TB and the hose that connects to the 987 Airbox (which Iīm also putting i). All for approx 350 USD so I Could not say no..

I take it that this 3.4 plenum has slightly bigger outlets than the IPD ment for the Boxer 3.2, hence the need for reducing hoses to connect to the OEM intake.

What do you Think? Is it perfectly fine to go with the 3,4 plenum and reducers to mate with the intake? I Believe it would be the same issue with the 996 & 997 plenums that "everybody" uses so I guess itīs all golden. Or?

Would anyone know what hoses to use as reducers?

I realize that all this info is somewhere on the forum, and I have used the search function, itīs just so many and so long threads on the plenum topics so Iīm lost :-)

Oh wait I Think I found it, just reuse the old hoses and stretch them to fit the new plenum!

Thanks for the congrats! I might add that it was a used kit, but still ok. I do however feel embarrassed for my question, the answer was just a few threads down "997 T plenum".

It's true that many of the questions that we might have have been already dealt with but it's not always easy to find the right keywords or to sift through dozens of threads if our search is too general. Glad you spotted the answer!
