Cruise control stalk cap

OK, before I break it, what's the trick for getting this cap off?

I'm replacing the entire switch unit as the turn signals have crapped out.

Just gently pry it off with a small flathead wrapped in painters tape.

Thanks for the reply. Do you pry at the small round end? Online pics show a hook on each side that have to slide once that end is broken loose?

Cruise control stalk cap

I just recall just prying it off, gently but firmly, and it should pop right off. When reinstalling, slip one end in first and press on the other end and will click in. They are cheap enough to replace if you break a clip.
