Convertible top transmission

Hello. I'm in the process of replacing the cables for the convertible top transmissions on my 2000 Boxster. The driver's side transmission has a microswitch that I'm guessing turns to the top motor off when the top reaches the fully open or fully closed positions . When I dissasembled the driver's side trans, I failed to take note of the position of the cam plate that triggers the limit switch. How do I install this plate in the correct position during reassembly so the motor operates correctly? Thank you.

I repaired mine last summer. I used this tech article. It seems more complicated than it is.
I have some pictures of the gears from mine if you need more.

I replaced the gears with metal ones, but I failed to take note of the cam position plate as well. Would you mind sending me your pictures as well?

I hope these help. I replace both cracked gears and the transmission drive cables.
