It's better than putting in storage with old oil, but not as good as putting it in storage immediately after the oil change. If you can't change the oil where it's stored, then it's the best option you have.

Since my opinion is that you would need to start and run it immediately after change to purge the Dirty/contaminated oil from the engine passages, bearings etc. anyway, No Harm No Foul.
