The differences I notice are:
* The GHL uses the original mounting bracket for the stock exhaust (the one which goes on top of the exhaust). The advantage of that is that the two mounts on top of the exhaust are rubber mounted while your exhaust bolts on directly, so I'd expect that vibrations are not dampened.
* the stock exhaust (Boxster S) is mounted at 6 different locations: the mounting bracket (on top), two mounting brackets to the cats, a center mount (don't remember where it's connected - differential?) and of course the two connection tubes to the cats. The GHL uses all these mount points with exception of the center mount, but well you still have 5 mount points
* Your exhaust only seems to be mounted "on top" and then bolted on to the cats via the connection tubes. meaning 3 mount points.

This would make me a bit worried that the whole construction is not sturdy enough and will suffer metal fatigue much sooner than the GHL or the stock exhaust.

Am I missing something here?

Chris
Hi Chris,

The Exhaust I'm selling are designed with 3 mounting point, with this design will cover all the Boxster model & years.

If this exhaust were made with stock Mounting location like GHL, than the R&D cost will end up higher. Which I would have to make this exhaust in 2 different applications.

With the 3 mounting location is sturdy, as the center top rubber mount absorbs the vibrations from driving which eliminate the metal fatique or stress on the welding or piping.

Please keep in mind I do offer 3 years unlimited miles warranty on these Exhausts & Headers, if any had metal or cracked flange or welding are entitle for new replacement.

Hope I answer your questions. Thank you !
