Does the headers come with o2 sensor "seats" or do they have to be installed?

Hi blinkwatt,
These Headers for 97-99 Boxster 2.5L don't have O2 sensor seats, for 97-99 model is direct bolt on. Thank you !

I did not change out my stock cats, which contain both sets of 02 sensors.
...and while we're on the subject of sensors, the new headers and exhaust did NOT throw a CE light.

What about non 2.5L boxsters though? Your car has one set of cats, 2.7s and 3.2s have 4 cats and one pair of cats are attached to the exhaust manifold..they contain the 02 sensors, not the main cat. By putting on headers on non 2.5's you essentially get rid of the pair of cats that have the 02 sensors. Where are these sensors suppossed to go?

Hi yfz/700R,
These Headers are direct replacement for the stock manifolds with no modifications, but you need to verify to see if your Boxster still have the stock cats.

Hi ohioboxster,
If you go with the exhaust the performance is not as much as with Header, but if you are looking for more sportier throaty sound definitely exhaust is way to go. Thank you !
