there is actually an oem clip that came on *i think* the 996TT designed to attach the cable to the trailing arm to keep it out of the way of wide tires/wheels. can't remember or find the part # for the life of me, however.

Smile Wheel Offset Question

Whoa ! This is really interesting now...
Thanks so much for your input Radium King for those cable clips and Doug 427's experience with his 02'S set-up with 20mm Spacers..
And of course, my neighbour New Art from Montreal , Thanks for the advise.. I will try and work this out with the seller of a nice set of Carrera Lights, and will keep you guys posted if it materialize!
Can't wait to take my ride out real soon..

Once I saw that clip (even though it's very cheap for a Porsche piece) I went ahead and used a couple heavy duty zip ties on each arm to hold the cable out of the way.
