Emission Standard 98 Boxster

Anyone aware of whether the 98 Boxster is a 50 state or 49 state car. Looking to sell a 98 Boxster to a buyer in California, but I want to make sure that he can register and smog it there. Thanks

All Boxster's (all years) are 50-State emissions legal. They are all the same in all states.

There are differences between US and non-US (ROW or rest of world) cars.

I live in California and my second Boxster originally sold new in Arizona - no problem getting the car to pass California smog tests.
