Dropping the pan sounds expensive. I'll show the video to a local mechanic.

During the oil change I took a sample and sent it for analysis. Result came back with only a note regarding the slightly higher fuel content that could be caused by making short trips, which is exactly how I often use the car.

What do you guys think?

The one to worry about is iron but at 24 ppm there are no alarm bells going off. Elevated iron would be in excess of 50 from what I have read.

Also, 13,000 km (8000 mi) is at the top end of intervals. 3 - 5k miles (5 - 8K km) is preferable.
