Seat center removal?

I'm going to be installing heated seats soon for the winter, and wanted to know how to remove the centers of the seats? On a quick inspection they look like they come out but I don't want to force anything.

Can it be done?

The centers of the backs come out. They are held on by clips. The center bottom I don't think come out.

It can be done and not very complicated.
The center part is held in place with a plastic channel, that connects to the bottom part of the back of the seat.
Once released you will have to pool the part up, as it is connected to the back using hooks shaped clips.
I will try to post some pics that will make sense.

I think I see what you mean. The back doesn't sound too hard then, it's just the base.

Any chance I'm able to just unhook the leather from underneath? I'm literally just going to slide a filament sheet in and that's it, so I don't need much space.

The base is easy as well.
You need to remove the seat from the car.
The hardest part is removing the height adjaster lever.
From there it's just two philips screws, and the two white plastic clips.
The button will come right up.
From there you will have to pill off the leather.
I don't see anyway of doing it with the seat in the car.

You can see what Meir is talking about in the Wheeler Dealer Boxster episode.

You can see it on YouTube (seat stuff starts at around 17 minutes)...
