Thanks, Jim.

This is one where you send in your ECU and they solder in a new chip and reprogram the ECU and return it to you. My friend has used their chips on several other cars, including his brother's car, and the power gains were very noticeable.

I've just heard so many people say the Boxster engines can't be upgraded much, that I was just wondering if anyone had actually tried this chip. I am happy with my Box as it is, but a little more power is always nice. I just don't want to mess things up.

Personally I would not want anyone messing with my chip. If you don't like how the car runs, what do you do then?

I for one wouldn't do any "chip" that was soldered on the motherboard.

Check out Revo http://www.revotechnik.com/ Theirs is 100% ODBII Flashed and they even have a 5 hour free "test drive".

I would stay as far away from upsolute as you can, unless you want CEL's popping all the time. I have reflashed over so many upsolute ecu flashes it is not funny. Their programming is cheap for a reason.
