I would start with the ignition switch it can cause all kinds of unusual electrical problems, my second thought would be some kind of grounding issue, the fuses or the relays. Have you checked the fuses? If it isn't the ignition switch you will need to investigate each individual issues in more depth. Also, the headlight switch is a common failure and fairly easy to replace.
