Abreviations in the parts catalogue

In the parts catalogue there are some undocumentet/unexplained abreviations I am not sure I understand.

Example:
What does /LL/L, /LL/R, /RL/L and /RL/R in the locks section mean?

Is /LL/R = left hand drive right door?
Is /RL/L = Right hand drive, left door?

or what?

Example
http://www.porsche.com/all/media/pdf/originalparts/usa/986_USA_KATALOG.pdf
page 225

You got it
LL is left hand drive
RL is right hand drive
L is left
R is right
V is front (German - Vorne)
H is rear (German - Hinten)

Greit, Thanks. I guessed that the first R in RL and L in LL was the German "rescht" and "links". But I don't know the second L that seems related to the driving wheel...
Anyway, thanks for the confirmation. I have now ordered an Audi TT lock för my Boxster at a fraction of the Porsche price.

Sehr Gut...
It's amazing how many little parts cross reference

When you get it let us know how it goes, and maybe make a DIY or a photos/part number/sources thread

My right hand door/passenger side needs a new door lock assembly due to a failed microswitch, and while I have a spare used part, if the new part is not too expensive I may just get a new one, if I ever get around to that repair...

Bumping this up because now both my driver and passenger side door need this assembly. Please let us know how you get on with your TT part

I tried to start a cross referencing thread a year or so ago but it never got any traction. Sometimes it would be nice to avoid the P-tax!
