For me, the hardest part was removing the hub... but just thinking about, it gave me back pain LOL

Seriously, it depends on the tools you have access to.

I "rented" a 5lb sledge hammer from Autozone and ended buying a bearing removal tool from HF.

But if you remove the drive shaft, you can leave the bearing carrier in place (without messing around with the parking break cable).
