Coming late, I'm curious about whether the taller oil cooler(S oil cooler, 996-107-025-59-M6) would be fitted to surrounding air inlet of the base pre-00 Boxster.
I got following reply today from Bod Tindel, senior technical advisor of Pelican;
"Sorry, but we don't have anything to indicate that this cooler could be fitted to the base Boxster engine. If it would fit, I think we would have gotten some input from our customer base, or from Porsche."

If way possible, enlighten me!
