It is usually just a fuse -covered many times here and elsewhere.Suggest you comb through those threads for other related issues.If I recall, the 'car phone circuit uses the same fuse and that is buried behind the center console.

Well if you had read my entire post you might have noticed that I don`t need help fixing the problem with the car. And P.S... the fuse is in rhe fuse box, E-5 I think.
